Grahampton & Co. history:

In the summer of 1991, Peter Classen served as a M&A Associate for an up-and-coming VC firm and its Managing Partner in Silicon Valley. The VC firm was Sequoia and the Managing Partner was Don Valentine. It was Don Valentine who advised Peter to take on an operating partner role at the tender age of 27 with a newly-privatized terry-cloth garment manufacturer in rural Bulgaria, that led to Grahampton’s first international office.
